The series has drawn upon the artistic zeitgeist of the 1980s, when muscles were in fashion in everything from comics to movie posters. While more recent characters may no longer be towering Greek gods, many of his earlier heroes and villains wouldn't look out of place standing next to Michelangelo's David.
A massive hulk of a man, Vanilla Ice is Dio's penultimate servant. Towering over most other characters in the series, he'd be a threat even without his devastating Stand, Cream. It was due to his own ignorance of becoming a vampire that he was defeated
But while he slew Avdol and Iggy and nearly killed Polnareff, the full mysteries of his Stand were never revealed. Its ability to send anything it touches to a void dimension calls to mind several other Stands from later Parts, such as Okuyasu Nijimura's space-erasing Stand, The Hand.
