Uryu Ishida is a clever Quincy archer with many powers and weapons at his disposal, but he hardly ever uses them more than once or twice each.

Bleach features one of shonen's very best combat systems, largely built on the supernatural and spirits. Instead of jutsu, Quirks, or Devil Fruits, the characters of Bleach wield weapons such as zanpakuto (spirit-cutting swords) and the spirit bows of the Quincy tribe. Uryu Ishida, for example, showed Ichigo Kurosaki what kind of unique powers the Quincy have, all with impressive results.

As a talented Quincy and true shonen hero, Uryu is a kind, brave, and creative fighter who has found all kinds of ways to even the odds in any fight throughout the Bleach anime. Fans are used to seeing Uryu use his default Quincy bow and the mobility of the Hirenkyaku technique, but oddly, Uryu hardly ever uses his other moves, even when they could have come in handy. In fact, some of his abilities were used just once and forgotten.

Quincy archers like Uryu Ishida can carry around a ginto bottle that stores their own spirit energy. They can then use that energy for all kinds of special techniques. Uryu has been seen using these special moves once or twice each, with the most impressive being Ginto Sprengen.

If Uryu gets a chance to draw a star on the ground, he can then pour his spirit energy onto it and create a powerful explosion of spirit energy. Uryu did this exactly once when Lieutenant Renji Abarai restrained Szayelaporro long enough for Uryu to pull this off.
