Cobra Kai's fifth season has been incredibly well-received, but fans were left with plenty of questions after watching the Netflix series' new season.

To say Cobra Kai Season 5 has fared well with critics and fans would be an understatement. The latest installment of The Karate Kid sequel series sports a rare 100 percent approval rating from critics and 95 percent from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes. This season marks the return of The Karate Kid Part III's Mike Barnes and Jennifer.

Along with the return of characters from the original Karate Kid films, viewers also meet several new faces, like Miguel's biological father and Terry Silver's new sensei Kim Da-Eun, the granddaughter of his former sensei, Kim Sun-Yung. While Season 5 was arguably the best yet, many fans were left with unanswered questions while waiting for Season 6.

Spoilers for Cobra Kai's fifth season ahead

9 Where Is John Kreese Going?

In typical Cobra Kai fashion, viewers are left with a cliffhanger involving John Kreese. While viewers were shocked to see the original Cobra Kai sensei allegedly stabbed to death, they were even more surprised to find out the blood on his shirt was actually Jell-O.

After faking his death yet again, Kreese manages to escape prison disguised as a doctor. However, fans were left with many questions, including where is he heading first? Is he going to take down Silver or to seek revenge for Johnny and Daniel double-crossing him about receiving a lawyer's number?

8 How Will Kumiko Respond To Chozen’s Confession?

Cobra Kai frequently uses footage from the original Karate Kid films. Although, young Johnny Lawrence's incredible cameo both surprised viewers and left them speculating about how it was pulled off. Several people from Kreese's past appear to him in prison, like his former love interest Betsy and a young Johnny. While young Johnny was featured in Cobra Kai before in recycled Karate Kid clips, Kreese's former student was given new dialogue.

According to Screen Rant, young Johnny, with his blonde bangs and red leather jacket, was a combination of stand-in Gaslit actor Logan Coffey and CGI. After young Johnny disappeared, a present-day William Zabka is in front of Kreese. It was an astonishing sight to see, but fans were definitely curious when they first saw him.
