One of Bridgerton
's best easter eggs has nothing to do with the source material and everything to do with the beloved 2004 film, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement
and Dame Julie Andrews. It's an obvious honor for Julie Andrews to be the voice of Lady Whistledown. Her involvement with Bridgerton becomes even more magical, however, when one realizes it's a reunion. Shonda Rhimes and Julie Andrews actually worked on The Princess Diaries
sequel together. The show's content mixed with this special reunion creates the perfect recipe for Bridgerton
to be a comfort watch for many.
