The spawn of Kyuss resembles a zombie completely infested with writhing green worms, a truly horrid sight. The worms can be spread via its attacks, and if left unchecked they will quickly devour a creature and turn it into a new spawn of Kyuss.

With the ability to regenerate and keep pace with fleeing opponents, in numbers this undead monster poses a legitimate threat to even high-level D&D heroes. Any D&D campaign looking to replicate the slow, spreading horror of a zombie apocalypse will have a powerful enemy in the spawn of Kyuss.
